For a janitorial service, it's roughly about 15% of your payroll, subject to a minimum of $1500.

It depends upon the area of work. For instance, a construction worker that only works on the first floor of a structure (about $17 per $100 paid) is less than that of one who works on the second floor(about $25 per $100 paid). Among the highest rates are those of underwater welding (about $325 per $100 paid) and personal security guards (about $400 per $100 paid).
If you are a business, you may want to look into the area of employee leasing, which takes the burden of these costs as a group and is less costly. If you are a single business with less than 5 workers, you do not have to carry workman's compensation, however you are liable for any accidents that may occur.

The price varies on the amount of Employees that you are talking about. Myself along with one full time employee cost me $286.00 per week. They will give you a break after you have ten full time employees. Each State will vary keep that in mind. Now you see why they are so many large Companies
out sourcing their Company into a Foreign Nation.

It's based on payroll. , usually dollars per hundred dollars of payroll.
It is based on occupation. For mining, it's very expensive,. but for a file clerk, it may only be a few cents per hundred collars.
