I am very sick.
I have been sick for a week with the flue and dont know if i should see a doctor. dose the flue usually last for a shorter amount of time?

It's normal for the flu to last a week or longer. But I would call your doctor, because how do you know it's the flu? You might have something that requires medical care.

Are you talking about influenza, where you have a bad cough and fever for over a week? You should see a doctor if, after you start feeling better, your fever goes up again and you cough gets worse. Or you have a hard time breathing.

yes the flu can last a week it always takes a couple of weeks to get completly better

THAT SOUNDS ABOUT RIGHT SOMETIMES 10 DAYS YOU MIGHT WANT TO GO TO THE DR JUST IN CASE IT IS SOMETHING ELSE ALOT OF DIESASES HAVE FLU LIKE SYMPTOMS....
