Well there is this guy that I like and im way to shy to talk to him. He's VERY popular, me, not so much. I do talk to him a bit, but only in class when we are working on projects. I stand no chance . . . although, he has chosen me for every single project in our first hour class. im slightly confused and i dont know what to do. Im trying to focus more on school . . . HELP!!!

do not let popularity dictate your life. He obviously enjoys working in class with you. use that as your ice breaker. see if he wants to study together. maybe start at the library or somewhere not intimidating for either of you maybe a local coffee shop that has free wifi. after an hour or so of studying see if he's hungry the 2 of you can get a bite to eat. see how things develop as you get more comfortable move up to, " I was going to go see (insert movie you think he likes) this weekend would you like to go?"
** Don't worry about the makeover or changing yourself or playing games trying to make him jealous. those things only work in the movies in real life they usually backfire. if he does not like you for who you are now a make over is just a fascade he will see through.
Don't be mousy either just be yourself you are probably more critical of yourself than you should be. let the personality i know you have inside you out and he will see it too!!

You didn't really ask a question there. Do you want to know if he likes you or not or what you can do to focus more on school? I'd suggest telling him you'd rather not work with him next time a project comes up, or hurry up and ask someone else. And as for whether he likes you or not, it can go either way, try flirting with him a bit, I know you're really shy, but to be brutally honest theres a chance hes just using you for your brains. Take a second and be completely truthful with yourself. Are you smart? and are you attractive? I don't mean cute, I mean hot. Not all popular guys are shallow, but most... I hate to say it... are... maybe you found a good one or maybe you're a very stunning person and he is shallow. I'm not sure, I suppose I'd need more details to give you a more sufficient response... sry, GL tho =]

Can't focus on schoo because the hot dude keeps choosing you for projects? That's funny. Probably not to you, but I'm not you. Anyway, What are you getting too old for? Being shy? If so, then do like Mariah Carey and "Say Something" to him. He is either gonna say yes or no. You have to prepare yourself either way. Rejection sucks, but you know if someone likes you or not. Just do it. If you don't, you'll kick yourself for not doing it.
I should take my own advice.

He probablly just wants you to do the work on the project and knows you're a sure thing. If you don't feel like you are good enough for someone then you probablly are not. You may be lacking the self-esteem and confidence that person probablly has. Until you can find that in you then you probablly will not be a good match for him.

well the best thing you can do since you guys are in the same class, I would recommend you to ask him if he can go to library with you? if yes then great that means he has feeling for you, this is the first thing you should do. Remember one thing if you push it he wont care. NOW remember to do this no matter what happen the, the day he go out with you to Lab DO NOT TALK TO HIM the second day and the day after that will stress him out little which will make him talk to you...this is psychology, and after this the cards are in your hands.

Well I think the best thing to do is just be his friend. It sounds like your young and you all kinds of time to like boys. But I will say My first real crush turned out to be my very best friend in the world.
And remember boys will be boys so just hang out and focus on school AND REMEMBER LET THEM COME TO YOU, your a lady and a lady does not go to a boy.

hmmm kinda hard to tell w/ info u gave. he might b picking u cuz ur smart and can get the project done. not necisarily b/c he likes u. OR he could like you and therefore chooses u for everything. jus try to b more outstanding around him so he will notice u more, in and out of that class.

Have you ever thought that he likes you too, but is afraid you are too shy to talk to him. He may chose you for project just to be near you. I suggest you find another method of gaining his attention: smiles, laughing at his jokes, and other ways to indicate interest are easier for those who are shy.
