Never. The U.S. is secretly holding on to OUR reserves, so that years from now, when we have used up and taken all the Oil the Arabs have, WE will be the top dogs in the energy game. In the future, we will sell oil back to the Arabs for three times as much as they are charging us. See how high and mighty those camel jockeys are then.

I don't think it will ever reach zero - there may come a time when a drum of crude oil will cost a million dollars, but the US and some private collectors will probably stash away a little for rainy days. Very rainy days indeed.
All the more reason for the military to fund research into renewable energy sources for their future vehicles.

Never...it is a question of simple economics...the less the supply the higher the price...there may be some day when the cost becomes so high that no one can afford it...but there will be alternatives to oil by then. It is going to take gas at something like 10/gal to force the market to come up with something cheaper

while Al Gore was v.p. he discovered the Navy's reserve. He then auctioned it to the lowest bidder, a company he owned a lot of stock in.
So it is already gone
