My kitchen was yellow (what were the owners thinking) and now its all white. Ahhhh!

Light on trim and dark sounds and looks nice.

Are you going for this type of look?

Traditionally, the trim is usually lighter than the wall color unless it's wood. But you can do whatever you like. In fact, Sherwin Williams has a collection called "Concepts in Color" that often shows the trim in a darker, contrasting color, like tan walls with bold brick red trim.

I love orange kitchens. Orange & white are very "cottage-y" & remind me of the dreamcicles we used to get off of the ice cream truck when we were kids. But if you want a more Tuscan looking kitchen, then I would paint the wainscoting a different color, like "golden fleece" or "compatible cream."

its all a matter of taste.i believe that the light orange with the white trim would be really nice for a kitchen. nice and bright and cheery!

My friend's kitchen is orange and it's beautiful! I think it was white before and she just painted over it.

white bottom and orange top would look nice. You can also paint the ceiling white and add crown moulding, its cheap.
