I missed work on consecutive days because I don't feel too good, do you think I will get fired since I've been at the job for only 6 months.

Just two consecutive days? Did you call in and give them notice you wouldn't be there?

If yes to both, I doubt you'll get fired if you've been a decent employee. Finding good workers is hard to do, and it's much harder to train someone again when you really don't have to.

Sounds like you have exhausted any available sick time. If the absence is consecutive and you have a real note from your doctor (never ever alter the dates). Most employers will count this a 1 absence.

Sometimes it is better to stay at home when you are ill rather than passing germs, etc. around the workplace.

Get well!

Only if they wanted to get rid of you. It happened to me before when my boss wanted his daughter to fill my position, but he could have said so instead of firing me like it was my fault after I had a light stroke.

If they didn't like you to begin with, you've just added fuel to the fire. Otherwise, if they do like you: don't sweat it. Just make up for it by doing your best when you get back.

Cheers :-)
