Well, if you have proof of your account being frozen, they'll know you are telling the truth. Just let them know your situation. It's not like you don't have the money or anything. You could always bring a statement from the bank showing them how much you have saved also. I hope everything works out for you. Make sure you get on that ASAP.

You Should Be Able To Work Out Arrangements With The Court Clerk.

How did you get away with only paying $30 in a 4 month period? When I went to court and got fined, my fine was around $300'ish and they made me pay $50 a month. Are you on a payment plan of $7.50 a month? That would be sweet.

Instead of "saving" the money in your bank account, the court will ask you why you didn't just show up at the court house and pay your fine as you could. Why go to the bank and deposit it only to have to go BACK to the bank, withdraw it and go to the court house to pay it? You could have saved yourself the time and effort with just going to the court to pay some of it.. no matter what sum you were able to pay at the time, they would have taken it.

To sum it up, if you were able to deposit money in your bank account, you were perfectly capable of just giving it to the court. Any judge will see right through you and ask you this question... and there's no reason you can give him to make him have sympathy on you.

Not trying to be mean, but you really have no recourse. Especially when it comes to breaking a contract made with the court on payment plans.

By the way, communism is the common ownership of the means of production for the good of the proletariat (working class). Brush up on your political and social terms before insulting a state who's only action is to punish you for something YOU screwed up on in the first place.

ok.. first of all write a short, nice letter to the judge and make copies and send ur story to him.. dont bore him with what ur dog ate that morning for breakfast etc..
before that, see if u can get probation, defensive driving, or do community service to pay it off//
now u may consider the option to sit the ticket out in jail.. many jails give u 200 dollars credit for each day u stay.. some give u more credit.. dpeneds whre u at

IF THE BANK FROZE YOUR ACCOUNT, GET THE PRINT OUT(YOU DO HAVE ACCESS TO YOUR ACCOUNT ON LINE?) AND TAKE IT TO COURT.

730 OWING AND 30 PAID IN 4 MONTHS WONDER THEY DID NOT PUT YOU IN CONTEMPT OF COURT FOR FAILURE TO PAY AS ORDERED.
WHY SAVING IN CHECKING ACCOUNT? WHY NOT PAYING WEEKLY OR PAYDAY AT LEAST 10 WOULD HAVE SHOWED YOU WERE ELIMINATING DEBT.
THIS COMMUNIST STATE WILL PROBABLY THINK YOU SPENT IT ON VODKA. SOUNDS RATHER CAPITALISTIC TO ME.

It's hard to say, just write them a letter and include the documentation, then see what happens.

You will get to "serve" the fine off by sitting in jail. Usually credit you 30-50 dollars a day.

Thanks for not killing anyone while driving drunk. Much appreciated.
