No but you will have to be tasered and pepper sprayed/maced. Some departments allow (but do not require) an officer to take a rubber bullet in the stomach wearing a ballistics vest at point blank range (to avoid a miss). I did that myself, hell of a rush.

NO WE WOULD NOT HAVE MANY IF THEY DID.
IF THEY DO ASK YOU TELL THEM YOU WOULD LIKE A BULLET PROOF VEST OK?
IN THE REAL WORLD WE DO NOT SHOOT AT EACH OTHER UNLESS WITH PAINT GUNS DURING PRACTICAL EXERCISES. WE DO HAVE TO GET SPRAYED, GET TAZERED, GO THROUGH PPCT TRAINING ON EACH OTHER, CUFF EACH OTHER USE BATONS ON EACH OTHER WITH A HAGAR DRAGON AS A PROTECT ANT.
HAVE BEEN SHOT WITH A BEAN BAG AND A RUBBER BULLET TO SEE WHAT IT FELT LIKE SO YOU WOULD KNOW WHAT SUSPECT WAS FEELING OR SHOULD HAVE FELT.
