I've been having a sexual relationship with a friend, but we have talked about how neither of us need or want emotional commitment -just physical connection. We have only slept together once and its one of the first type of experiences like that for me w/ just a friend. What I don't understand is why he isn't just screwing me then getting over with it, instead he will kiss my hand and tell me how nice it is and hold me afterwards. I just really don't understand I always thought that if you weren't in a serious relationship -and just had sex- men would just have SEX and keep it not so cuddlely. Are the rest of you dudes like that? =] seriously..you confuse me. Let me know.

It's really hard for us guys to truly think about an emotional relationship with a woman until after we have a physical one. There's a lot of 'salesmanship' that goes into things up until that point and we like to explore.
Once I have a physical relationship, only then can I truly start thinking about if I want to share a deeper emotional relationship. So this guy probably just wasn't aware of his own feelings for you at the time he stated that he wasn't interested in an emotional relationship. Either that or he fibbed about not wanting an emotional relationship so he could at least maintain the sexual one!

It is his way of saying "Thank you" and letting you know that he enjoyed it very much. It's the least he could do. How else can you appreciate a woman that has given herself to you in such a way? Really, compared to the pleasure he must have felt, kissing your hand and holding you is nothing! He is also letting you know that he is available again if you want by trying to make you feel comfortable and appreciated. It is up to you. If a female friend let me just screw her like that I would kiss her feet! Aren't you a little glad the guy has a heart?

The actions of a partner, before, during & after sex in your relationship with this guy have little to no bearing on his emotional attachment. He is just treating U nicely, because he thinks U deserve it. He is telling U things, he thinks U want to hear. If it's not, tell him to cut the crap & let's get it on. Or if he's done the deed, tell him to move on ... until the next time that is, LOL.

because you are friends, not some bimbo he picked up. he cares about you in a friend way. he is not just using you. the sex you have is sharing just like a girlfriend and boyfriend. what you have is a friendship that includes sex.
women want the kissing, the holding. we do it to make the sex better. if you like us, you put more into the sex, which makes it better.
if he just came over, hit it, thyn ran out the door 5 minutes later putting on is pants, you would feel like crap and never do him again.
we guys would love to just hit and run, but we know we cant. unless we just picked you up and we really dont care about you.

lol Sadie look if u want a guy o not do that tell him! We are not very inherent when it comes to the subtle hints department the best way to get anything across to us to simply tell us out right. Trust me it wont hurt his feelings, he is probly just trying to make u feel more comfortable with it. Just say hey bro none of this kissy close stuff lets just bang and chill i dont want all that and he will say HECK YEH.
