I know someone who had a dream that there was a school shooting at her school and her boyfriend was shot in it taking a bullet for her.
What could this mean?

Maybe there is a reason why she feels like a target at school, and maybe her boyfriend stands up for her, for example, if there is some sort of nasty gossip going around, and he stands up for her defense, things like that........

no experience in this professionally or anything, but i think that your friend must very much like her boyfriend. she feels that he does not love her the same way back though, and feels that him taking a bullet for her would be very romantic. the school shooting would make her life more interesting also. I'm not saying that it's not interesting, but you know what I mean I think...adventure. But yes, I think that she's probably very romantic and likes him very much, but is unsure and needs reassurance from him. Hope this helped!

Dreams aren't meant to be taken literally, but it could be a reflection of their relationship. Has she been wondering how serious the relationship is? Or how long the relationship is going to last? Thoughts like this could really spiral out of hand in the dream-world. She might not be asking herself about whether or not he would actually take a bullet for her, but she might be subconciously asking herself about the sturdyness of their relationship.

Bullets can represent words or gossip. Gossip murders a person's character. Her boyfriend stood up for her when someone was running their mouth at school.
