How soon after your relationship begins should you introduce your new love to your family? He and I are in our 50s, and live hours away from my family.

So when are we going to see your family? I suggest Thanksgiving with your family & Christmas with mine. Next year we can swap that the other way if you'd like. As to Easter that's a toss up, we could flip a coin, or throw in a secular holiday like Memorial Day or the 4th of July and do the same thing - your choice!
U know, I'm just kidding! Congratulations! The serious answer of course is that you'll know when the time is right, when U talk about the future & the plans include the both of you. I wish you much luck & happiness!!!

I think you should introduce him to your family at whatever point you feel things are getting "serious" - and that (to me) means, he's going to be around for a while, at least through the holiday season & maybe will be part of some family holiday dinners, etc. As mature adults, I think you'll know when that point comes. You could also ask him his opinion on this & let him know what it means to introduce him to your family. Ask him outright, would you like to meet my family?

I tend to tell my family most of what goes on in my life so they would be wanting to meet him, they would get a little miffed if I kept it from them!!
