You must have a passoprt to FLY anywhere outside the U.S. Fo a few more months , Americans may DRIVE to Canada or Mexico without a passport, but then that too will change. You can go to the website below for all passport info and to print out the forms. The trip planners at school would do well to be sure everyone has the correct information now so everyone will be prepared. Have a great trip.

Passport is a document that a country requires in order to let you enter.
Passport means that the government of the country of which you are a citizen vouches for you.
Aint nobody care about yo birth proof, get going girl or you'll be wasting your Congressman's time. Apply for a passport tomorrow.

A passport is the travel document with passenger/ traveller ID. A visa is a form of "permission" to enter another country. A passport from the persons birth nation is issued to them and they get visas to travel to different countries.

Passports are probably needed in Spain. The number of countries in which you don't need one are rapidly diminishing because the US Gvmt has decided that it has to penalize its citizens by requiring passports on ships and planes to give them the impression that the Gvmt is doing something to increase their safety, when all it is doing is making travel more of a pain.

You most definitely will need a passport. If you are staying in Spain with your school for more than six months, you will also need a visa. Spain is a beautiful country, I studied there for a year while in college. Bon Voyage!

All U.S. citizens, including children, are required to obtain passports in their own names for identification while traveling abroad and for re-entry into the United States.
