Black. And make sure they all wear the same color and have their hemlines at the same height i.e. 1" off the ground for long dresses and an equal" off the ground for tea. A lot of brides don't think about this ahead of time and you will notice the differences in the pictures. Black is good because it will disapear and not be noticed. If you can get teh exact color of your dress it might work but the shoes better be exactly the same pair. Silver or gold will stick out like a sore thumb.

I had apple red too! We ended up going with shoes that were dyed to match. They picked their own shoes.

The only other color considered was silver. Silver would look good with silver jewelry.

I think black is too dark and sticks out like a sore thumb. Gold is too rich and looks weird with red.

I suggest going with matching shoes or silver. Especially if there are any embellishments on the dress (sparkle).

My girls all had different styles and some had sparkles. Silver would have accented the sparkle but gold would have clashed with it.

Depends on the style of the dresses and the wedding. If it's informal/casual/country style, then white works - also if the color theme for the wedding is red and white. If it's formal/semi-formal, sophisticated, then black works well. You can also buy white satin pumps that can be dyed to match the dresses, but make sure they have to deliver them long before the wedding, so there's time to do it over again if they don't turn out the right color!

this depends heaps on what the whole colour scheme for your wedding is - i think silver would really suit but if you have a lot of gold in ur wedding venue and/or decorations then that would be good to. Try to match with ur overall colour scheme, but if you cant (for example if ur colours are red and blue) then go for something like white or black perhaps with red detailing. Stick with something plain in a different colour (dont go all red - it'll just be too much) and then maybe find some red dimenties or fake flowers or something to make it look a bt classier and match.
Good luck

when is the wedding?? if the wedding is before September I would say you could wear white, not recommended due to it will shine ot above your dresses. i would wear silver. that would make it look wonderful. What are you using Silver or Gold and if gold then you might have to use white on other idea is us clear, I used clear in my wedding my bridesmaids did to. That way you donnot have one color standing out over the other.

Not white -- looks terrible and distracting.

Either red (not recommended, but it won't look bad), black or brown. I would wear brown -- it won't detract from the dress color because it isn't too striking and it is a color that everyone can wear again.

When I was in a wedding recently we had our shoes dyed to match the color of the dresses -- miserable idea...waste of money because I'll never wear them again.

Do not do white!! Black would be best! What are you colors?
My bridesmaid dresses are apple red (from David's bridal) and my colors are that red and accents of gold so my girls have gold heels. It looks adorable!

More then likely black. Or to make your wedding a little more earthy let them walk down the aisle barefoot. Get them pedis and have there toes painted to match the dresses. Or black shoes. They also make clear shoes that dont have to look as trashy as they seem, kinda like cinderella shoes!

My bridesmaids wore Apple (from Davids Bridal) and they all wore silver shoes. It was my accent color so it looked very nice together.
