Not as a group but some individually.
In every population of human beings are going to a few sick or evil people who commit horrible crimes, even in the Church.
These few terrible people do not negate the faith, hope and love of over one billion Catholics.
Remember that the Church is not the Church hierarchy or the priests. The Church is God and His relationship with over one billion living Catholics on Earth and God only knows how many in heaven, all of whom make up the Body of Christ.
Remember that political scandals in nations, even up to and including the highest leaders, like President Nixon and the Watergate scandal, do not make the nation as a whole wrong, immoral, or worthless. And the Catholic Church is so much holier and more important than any nation.
With love in Christ.

The moral teachings of catholic Christianity are the most balanced and most faithful to the New Testament.
Afew immoral clergy and negligent bishops do not "clearly demonstrate" that we as a billion+people are morally corrupt any more tha Jimmy Swaggart, etc "proves" that all Pentecostals are hypocrites in the area of sexual morality ,etc.

You shouldn't use the examples of a few to generalize the moral convictions of nearly the largest religious population in the world. It's easy to target Catholics when some make a small step out of line, isn't it? Yet, you turn your backs to the dirty deeds of many, many others who do the same, if not, worse acts. How sad... We all fall short and none are without sin.

No, but I think you've clearly demonstrated your own prejudice against an entire group of people.

They have the CONFESSION thing. That makes it all good.
Don't forget some of us Protestants have that SAVING GRACE thing. That, too, makes it ALL good!
