Slip of the keyboard. it should read iraq.
For those moaning about buisness suffering because they ship overseas, I'm not talking about stopping commerce, Read the question. It's about sayin g up yours to those dickheads in Brussels and putting our borders back up. If the current in flux of immagrants continues at the rates predicted then your business taxes are going to go throught he roof to pay for them all. Did you know that last year over half a million Brits left the country for good, predictions are there will be another million next year. Of these 90% were tax payers. So expect a big rise in income tax soon.

I don't know why!! we are on this suicide run of immigration. but i suspect it was originally all to do with taking our minds off of the big day when the new labour traitors sign away our country to the EU. by then though i think the numbers of immigrants + the timing got all out of sink. now its imploding on itself and the whole thing is starting to get serious. closing the border is!! the most sensible thing to do. so we must ask ourselves why isn't it being done?.....the answer must be! that we have no control over our borders and that we have already been signed over to EU control. that's obviously why Brown is refusing every!! one a vote on it , even parliament!!. new labour under the leadership of Tony Blair have done so many nasty evil things, and told so many lies. covered up so!! much criminal activity inside their own crooked party, that i don't think we will ever undo the tangle of deception. but the question why!! have we not closed our borders particularly to Muslims during the Iraq war. should be forced out......why is no one pressing for the answer??

The majority of indigenous British people would support such action. In the 1970's the UK signed up to open trade across European borders. It was a tragic occurance that brought us into this present alarming situation. The fearful thought that the EU is planning to engage a special Police Force that would have total power across all countries in the EU union, overriding our own Police authority- no redress would be tolerated-is intolerable. We should all persist as vehemently as is possible to stop what is going to happen. Would a referendum go against the Government? I think it would if the full truth were put forward, but that is the rub. As someone has said if we all think we have an immigration problem now, just watch out- is absolutely and frighteningly right.

More to the point Isn't it time we said good by to the Labour Party who have caused this mess and voted in a party with the moral courage to do just that, then the Billions of £ that we waste on membership fees can be used to sort out the financial black hole that Gordon Brown has caused in our countries finances

Your question reminds me of the old adage: "Fog in the channel, Europe's cut-ott".

Personally, I can stand the Poles coming here; at least they were our allies and fought alongside us durng the war.

Anyway, I can't see how cutting off Europe will stop the country being flooded by Africans and Asians; the deluge of West Indians having already happened.

Basically, Pandora's out of the box. and the country is completely stuffed!

HA if this is bothering you know you wait till that punk Mr brown signs that paper to make us apart of that EU super state then we are doomed even more i now hate him and labour for this as by him agreeing to that he is giving away the rest of what britishness we have left

so if you think there coming in now you just wait as this is the calm before the Storm

the only way we can over come this is by ALL voting conservative in the next election as the above you mentioned is actually one of there ideas and not only that remember they said that if they get elected into power they will let us the PEOPLE OF Britain decide in a vote if we want to become apart of this super state and in nearly all pols on do we want to be apart of this state 70% of people said NO so vote conservative and spred the messag as im sick of these immagrant comeing here bringing there badness and crime with them its got to a point now where we have 3 speically reserved prisons for immagrant

when we AINT EVEN got space to house our own prisoners with only 700 prison places left

NO.

This works both ways.

If we shut the borders, what happens to all those folks who bought second houses in France, Spain, Portugal etc. and all the ex pat Brits moving to the Continent for a cheaper (better) life? They will loose out too.

What happens to our trade with Europe, half my sales are to the rest of europe.

As a company director, I would then have to move my business to France as 88% of my business is with Europe and the rest with the USA.
There are a lot of companies that would have to do the same and a lot already have because Britain won't commit to the union.
