My friends and I have a debate going on, and I figure what better sources could I research than hundreds of strangers??

Can high schoolers fall in love?... yes... can high schoolers know true love?... unlikely but possible... love knows no boundaries, but human love needs emotion, wisdom and commitment... falling in love is pure emotion... true love requires emotion, wisdom and commitment...

High schoolers can DEFINATELY fall in love . I met my husband when I was 14 and nothing or nobody could have kept us apart . ( He was 17 ) I am now 31 , happily married , and have 5 children . I realize that my situation is unusual but I think that to say they are too young to fall in love would be a definate mistake . I think that we don't give these young adults enough credit sometimes . It also depends on the individuals .

Hmm, i'm gonna give this one a "no", only because high schoolers have so many hormones rushing through them that they are only thinking about sex when it comes to relationships, and they often overlook the real feelings that encompass love. They are too young to know what love really is. I think we have to learn what real love is through those early relationships.

well they are some high school sweethearts but thats rare. Most people in high school date just for the experience or because they think their all that. If you ask me i think its a joke, i waited until college to date. The guys are actually mature in college believer it or not.

yeah you hear about married people being high school sweethearts all the time. my parents were and they've been married for like 40 some odd years.

but high school is like a permit to driving you have to learn from people so when your older you will know better

i think high schoolers can evry well be in love. not all, thats for sure, but yeah, they can be.

there is no such thing as love in a teen infested environment, just lust, breast penis thighs pregnancy sex, complaining and whining, friends stabbing each other in the back, all this adds up to....teen
