I'm not entirely sure on what angle you're asking this question, but some guys actually have problems and are violent towards their "significant other." Seriously, though, no guy should EVER hit a girl, even if he's in a bad relationship. If this has happened to you, you may want to tell someone about it who can do something to help you, because it isn't normal. I really hoped this helped answer your question.

To fill strong, to feel in charge. But hitting is a BIG no no. Remember a woman can only take so much and then snap. But if hitting is happening, GET AWAY AS FAST AS YOU CAN, because the female can end up DEAD if he hits her in the perfect way. And some women aint no better casue they do it too. but that still does not make it right.

It's called control. IF u hurt someone, all they're gonna do is try anything not to get hurt again. So, if a guy hits a female, and it hurts, she'll be more submissive so as to keep him happy. This is a bad relationship because they're both unhappy. IF he were happy, he wouldn't control her.

A woman whose boyfriend hits her should never stay in the relationship. A good, caring man would never intentionally harm another person physically.
