this guy (8th grade) likes me(also 8th grade) and i don't really know if i like him in that way, or just as good friends. he has been telling people that he wants to get to know me better before he asks me out, and the only time he cant think of something to say was when he was around me. he seems really sweet and is nice but i dont know if i should say yes and try more then friends, or just let him off nicely and not even try. please only serious answers

oh and i also really wanted to see the movie across the universe, and he knew that, and he told people that if i hadnt seen it by the time he was going to ask me out he would ask me to go see that movie. i thought that was adorable

Aww, it sounds like he really likes you, so if you do want to go out with him, do it quick because it sounds like he really cares about you. If you don't know if you like him, then say no before he gets to know your answers through other people instead of you personally. I think that no one can answer this question for you because they don't really know you and the way that you think and stuff, so you have to make up your own decisions and figure it out. Good Luck.

get to know him better. if you do decide you like him more than a friend, tell him. even if its hard,, cuzz obviously he likes you. & if he asks tell him youre not sure if you ready to be "like that" just yet. but dont act mean. he'll think youre uninterested and move on. good luckk..
