I've had a crush on this one guy for a year now and the only move I've made is sadly...looking at his Myspace. I used to look at it like everyday but after a few weeks I looked at it less and less.
And oh yeah, I'm 16.
I have no clue where he lives, I have any pictures saved of him, and idk where any of his classes are or anything creepy like that. He's so cute. I've just been kinda feeling guilty about looking at his Myspace so long. Not like everyday, probably like 1-3 times a week now. I've never had a bf so I'm scared of the rejection factor.
Do you think this is an obsession or boredom thing? Bc he is not the first thing I think about when I get on-line, mostly when I have nothing else to do.

The answer is yes, but the reason why has nothing to do with him.
Right now he's flawless because you don't know enough about him. If you had given yourself a chance to meet him, you may have already found out that he's not worth your time. On the other hand he could turn out to be the love of your life, but chances are he's just somewhere in between.
Don't be afraid of rejection, what ever doesn't kill you only makes you stronger.

It's good you noticed that you spend too much time staring at pictures on myspace. You can't really get to know someone that way. Relax and make friends and see if you can't be a little closer to where he is at lunch or break. If he makes eye contact give him a few chances to talk to you. If he doesn't just smile and maybe say hi. If he still doesn't pay attention just move on. Keep your hair brushed and clothes neat and walk up straight and talk politely when you are in groups. You will attract the type of guy you set yourself up for. Be patient you are young yet.

I am totally obsessed with this one guy at school to. But unlike your guy he doesn't have a Myspace...well he does but he hasn't logged on since March. It's probably just boredom. Or if you are like me, obsession. I know I am. I actually memorize what he wears so I can 'avoid' him.
Hope I could help.

I am a guy so, perhaps i won't be the most helpfull.
Since your question is, 'is it obsession', i will say this, no its not obsession, its you liking someone.
so if you like someone you should really get to know them, and if you find that you still like them after you really know that person, then ask them out. In the end, you are the only one who can decide if it is obsession or not.

just earm say casually start texting him or ask him something on myspace. if after week or 2 nothing happens and youve talked to him etc you have to let it go and comlpetely stop thinking about him, as then all your thoughts of "will it happen" will have an answer of yes or no. then deal with it depending on the answer

I wouldn't call it an obsession lol. It's a crush! You will get over it. I have had many crushes like that and i am fine. i haven't turned into some kind of stalker. Don't worry about it...like i said you will get over it.

Window shopping is always fun!
At your age one needs to do a lot of window shopping and enjoy life to the fullest before complicating it with men. Find out who you are first and what you want from life, then you will know the answers to questions of this nature.

Well, it's a tough one. ^^ I wouldn't call you obsessed, persay, my sister is in love with the pop start Mika, and she is definately obsessed. Let me put it this way, would you scream and shout if someone else says 'He's cute, I like him too'? If no, then you're just a bit bored.
Hope that helped.

It's infatuation. You are thinking constantly about something / someone you can't have.
It's normal for someone your age to have these thoughts, but not for a year!
You need to find a creative outlet for these emotions. Before you become a stalker.

I think it's a 16-year-old thing. Don't worry. You'll get a real life soon. Just take it as it comes!
