If it actually came to real war between the United States and China... everyone would lose, even if no nuclear weapon was ever launched. (And honestly, if China and the USA did go to war, someone would hit the "Red Button".) What good is being the "winner" when your country has probably been decimated, both in terms of infrastructure and economy? The collateral damage would be enormous. The so-called victor would depend on who would strike first, and how. China has greater numbers, but the USA has better technology (for now). At the moment, the USA's forces have been overstretched and overtaxed. A lot of the Reserve forces still have to use gear and weapons from decades ago - I know because I was a Reservist until this past spring. The troops have been abused by our political leaders and ignored by the system. Our nation is not currently ready for ANY other conflict. If the USA was at full strength, however... it would still be a deadly matchup that would leave both the USA and China devastated... along with anyone who was unfortunate enough to get caught in the crossfire.

Last time I checked if Us attacks Iran US would control 60% of the Oil. Not the the Oil but the Flow. Its somehow being sneaked down from the North to Kuwait. That would be a big part in weekening of China. In the long haul if if gets to that point US would win, it looks like were preparing for that war. But as long as China has there money glued to the US dollar we'll have to wait. Sorry guys

In an economical war affair USA is the one who will be the looser, no doubt.
Meanwhile China is building up its country and welfare USA is blowing away its well being and prosperity in worthless wars affairs instead of thinking of the welfare of its people in the first place.
Look around in the world, there are a lot of countries where the people are living under much better circumstances than in USA and do ask yourself the question why is it like that?
Is the American dream just a dream – yes wake up!

The US Military is better in every way, shape, and form; the only thing China has is numbers. The US has more Military funding, transportation (which China severely lacks), a better Navy by far, a better Air Force, a better trained Army with better weapons, the US has the Marines, better technology, more supplies, better allies, more influence on the World, and would have Japan and South Korea has footholds to go into China.

Plus it would be a lot easier for the US to commit espionage in China than vice-versa.

America. China may have the largest military- in personel- with around 3.7 million. But the US has the incredible edge in mobility of troops, nuclear weapons, and technical weapons in general. To put it in perspective, if you added up all the money all the countries in the entire world spend on military, the US spends 1/2. China spends less than 10% annually than the US does on its military.

There were many battles that people said we would never win. Look at Iwo Jima....the japanese said it with a million men and a thousand years we would not be able to take over Iwo Jima. American weapons are better built.

However, it seems that a lot of people in America would rather surrender than defend this country. The Chinese people would support their government more than the hippies here would. Our hippies would stage all sorts of protests and put all of their effort into sabotaging this country. The US newspapers would publish all of our strategies because they are all run by lefties.
