I brought this car from a buy here pay here, a local one that was just starting to get up and running. I believe I was the first sale and the owner didn't know what she was doing. Anyway, it's been two months and she has YET to get my car registration and tags. She gave me some plates that were already on the car. Every time she says she is going to do it, she makes up some excuse. Can she enforce this contract if I don't pay?

I wrecked the car and now I don't know if insurance is going to pay because she didn't get it registered.

If there was a finance contract done on the vehicle, then it is yours to pay for, either you or your insurance...As far as the tags go,you need to go see your local DMV inspecter about that...You say she gave you the old tag? Did she just do a tag transfer? If so, you would use your old tag,but if you paid for a new tag and the registration fees, you need to go see the DMV inspecter and he/she will be able to answer any questions you may have.
