If you quote from the Apocrypha, you get comments like: "That's not part of MY bible." I was wondering if any bible believing Christians (who don't have the Apocryphal books) have ever read them or not, or do their pastors forbid it?

"Harry Potter may be forbidden by Rome"
May, but isn't.

"The Apocrapha if I remember correctly was printed in the original King James Bible but separately from the rest and was not considered part of the Bible."
False. Although Luther first separated books into a section of the bible he named "Apocrypha", these books *were* included in the Luther bible. They were also included in the King James translation, and in the 1611 edition (the first).

"Most do not accept it as divinely inspired tho."
Actually, I believe that, by far, the majority of Christians accept the so-called "Apocrypha" as divinely inspired. The Roman Catholics, the Episcopalian Churches, and all of the Eastern Orthodox Churches, just to name those that *I* know for certain accept these books. I'm sure that there are many other sects as well.

To answer your question: yes, it is, but not for the same reasons. There are very few Christian sects that actually *ban* the "Apocrypha", but some do. They base this on the belief that these books are forgeries and fraudulent attempts to imitate the inspired word of God. Of course, such beliefs are wholly a matter of faith.
