Ummm...that it actually 'may contain egg' products. To warn people who are allergic to eggs. Just like you see some products say...'may contain peanut oil'. Manufacturers don't always use the same supplier. So for instance, if the donut maker received their batter from a different supplier...maybe one supplier uses egg and the other doesn't. It's just a warning to let you know the product you are consuming might contain egg and if you are allergic, they don't want to be legally held responsible for you if you slip into a coma.

alot of people have allergies to eggs, and sometimes foods are produced in factories that use eggs in other products, they just want people that there could be some cross contamination with eggs going on, that's the same with "may contain nuts" "may contain milk" etc

As Hannibal mentioned, it is your determination. The word on hint parts of determination food is bigger often than no longer there for people with extreme allergic reactions. It if reality learn potential that the product is made on the comparable kit (or produced indoors the comparable facility as) products containing those food. some people sidestep 'em, others do no longer. as quickly as you're hypersensitive to a food and your throat will swell up in case you have a tiny quantity, you probable decide to sidestep the product. in spite of the incontrovertible fact that, ifr you do not have any allergic reactions, you need to probable loosen up danger-unfastened.

When it says May Contain Egg in it, they are just warning vegans and people who are lactose intollerant that there might be eggs in it and to be careful while eating it.
