you should try to win him. that means flirt with him...yes even though he has a gf FLIRT with him and show him that you think that you are better than her.

Just wait it out, if she treats him so bad, he will get sick of it. Don't try to steal him from her. It only makes you look bad. And if he chooses to stay with her, then there is a reason for that, you don't always know what really goes on between two people. Just do your own thing, be friends with him, but never let it cross the friends line until he is completley single.

You really should be hands-off. But my opinion is go for it. If he wants her, he will stay with her. If not, then he can opt for you. But you won't know unless you give it a try.
