I really want a boyfriend. I want somebody who will respect me, but be willing to kiss me and to tell me he loves me. I want somebody who will die for me. Obviously, I know these things aren't going to happen at my age, but this is really what I want when I get older. Is it so wrong to want a fairytale ending? A classic example-Phantom of the Opera-Raoul was willing to let the Phantom kill him to let Christine go. That's the kind of thing I long for. All of my relationships so far haven't worked out at all. A jerk, a jerk, a jerk. That's the story of my love life. I'm not looking for somebody to tell me how to get this, just somebody who can sympathize with me. Sometimes this keeps me awake at night, thinking how badly I want this. someday...someday...

I'm 16 an i know EXACTLY what you mean, i used to and still do a little, think about it. You just gotta know that when the time comes it'll come. I'm still waiting, but God will deliver the perfect man for you when he knows it's time, and your really ready...So don't worry about it, and keep your mind occupied for the time being...If u wanna talk about it i'm here so...yea

I sympathize with you! I would love a fairytale ending.. I would love to be swept off my feet. I would love to dance in the rain together. and i would love to find somebody that respected me too But what are the chances of actually having a fairytale ending.... How many people do you know that has had an ending of such.. But I keep my eyes open just in case. Cause you never know. good luck

i know exactly how you feel.
i'm pretty sure there are a lot of girls that feel the same way we do.
it kills because the desire for something like love is so strong and i dont really know what to tell you to help you get rid of it, because i dont think you should
i think you should keep on feelin the way you feel b/c that just means that you're capable of loving that way, and that someday you'll get exactly what you want as long as you're willing to hold on and go through all the bad in order to get to the good. it'll come eventually...maybe sooner than you think

Well just socialize a lot and then you'll meet people who you might like. Just sort of go with the flow. Eventually you'll meet someone who you like and then you need to build your relationship. And if it works, it might turn out to be a very special relationship. But you need to work at it to make it great. Things just can't be done magically. If you want something to happen you need to make it happen. And considering you're young, you still have plenty of time.

Fairytale endings do exist. You just have to have enough patience to wait for them and when they happen, you'll be glad you took the chance and waited. Whenever someone breaks your heart, if you have the courage to keep going on soon enough, the perfect guy for you will just walk through your door.

Good luck!

I feel exactly the same way. There's nothing I want more in life. I hope, for our sakes, that people like that exist...
