First to f**kin fight. Semper Fidelis. Im not going to say the hardest training in the service, but its up there. In my opinion, Navy SEALs may be a little more strenous with their training.

Pick one of us and find out for yourself. I've known several Marines who have taken on a bear in a traveling side show just to prove how tough they are. Of course the bear won but it still proves they are BAD A S S to the bone. Thus this brings to mind the 13th general order of the Marines, "To walk my post from flank to flank and don't take any s h i t from any rank".

in bootcamp, you are, upon arrival going through lots and lots of fun.if you want to participate,see your marine recruiter.they let you go to the marine dance the first night there in your newly issued dress blues,you get to drink as much beer as you can hold and the drill instructors tuck you in a nice huge bed to sleep in any time you want and they serve you breakfast in bed too.

You posted a simple question but a good one.
All people act as they perceive themselves.
Marines perceive themselves as Bad A-- and are trained to be so. That's why they join.
But your question could pertain to anyone or any profession.
Why do teachers act like they do?
Why do doctors act like they do?
Why do liberals act so gay?

because they are the baddest mother f/u/c/k/e/r/s on the planet. their basic training is as intense as the army's special ops(rangers) and no other branch has anything close to the crucible. in short watch "full metal jacket" and you will know why.
