TV is extremely dangerous because it is not recognized for the mind pollutant that it is. Everyone knows the saying: "A mind is a terrible thing to waste" yet nobody seems to care much about allowing all the garbage into their minds from the boob tube. Once a person becomes dumbed by advertising and stupid shows, that person will spread the stupidity and ignorance to their children, friends and acquaintances, it's like a catching disease.
Another terrible pollution is from the hormone-containing drugs for birth-control that are not bio-degradable and transform the fish into all females or half-and-half so they cannot reproduce anymore. These synthetic hormones also affect the water we drink and make men more effeminate and pre-teen girls have their first period and hair and breast development, all at a time when pedophiles are running rampant. Ohter chemicals that make plastics soft and rubbery, named "phthalates" act like synthetic hormones and are also affecting the hormonal system. All these cannot be filtered out in water-purifying plants. They cannot be eliminated by any means known to man.
Another horrible pollutant is the DU (depleted Uranium in ohter words, nuclear waste) that ammunitions are made of and which is responsible for genetic mutations and babies being born to Iraqis, Afghans, people in the former Yugoslavia and also US soldiers with horrific birth defects. This pollution cannot be eliminated, it flies in the wind and soon the entire earth will be covered with it, and all living species, animal and plants, with their genetic material compromised, may become unable to fullfill their function in the web of life and be unable to reproduce.

That is very difficult to answer. You haven't defined dangerous yet. Do you mean immediate harm or death (ie LD-50), potential for increased harm (carcinogenic), or future genetic defects due to the turning off of genetic markers by environmental switches (epigenetics)?

Misinformation!!!, it has cost lives and money for quite sometime now.
It's used by politicians, there are too many to name individually. The same holds true for the drug companies, there are big bucks involved there. Oil companies, banking, the list goes on... Yes, misinformation is the biggest threat to our world as we know it.
