What would they be called? Muddles? Mutt-poos? Do you think I could sell the babies?

That makes no sense.. Mutt + Poodle = ALWAYS MUTT... Here's how it works.

Reg'd Poodle + Reg'd Poodle = Purebred Poodle
Mutt + Reg'd Poodle = Mutt
UnReg'd Poodle + UnReg'd Poodle = Mutt

The only way you'll ever get purebreds is to breed Registered Purebreds of the SAME breed.. It's the only way!

Babies..or Puppies maybe you mean?? NOPE they are not able to be sold, they are mutts..

Absolutely not. They would be mutts, just like the neighbor's dog. While there is nothing wrong with mutts, they are wonderful dogs, the shelters are full of mutts that could not be sold or were sold as cute little puppies and then they grew up and the owners decided they didn't want them any more.

Besides the normal speech about overpopulation of dogs, there is also the health risk to the female. While you don't mention if you have the male or female, if you own the female, she could suffer very serious complications due to the pregnancy.
If you own the male, you could be started a lot of problems, as well as personality changes from before and after the mating.

Do yourself, and the community, a favor by getting your dog spayed/neutered and not add to the already existing problems.

No. A purebred means 100% of a certain breed, Yorkie, Cocker etc. A mutt is a combination of 3 or more breeds.

You could sell them of course, but they won't net you very much.

Keep in mind, a dog's personality will change once it's bred.

Obviously some people don't get what purebred means.
Breeding Chihuahua to Chihuahua
Labrador to Labrador
Poodle to Poodle
Bad example: Purebred poodle to purebred Maltese--- not called purebred, still mixed no matter how the story goes.
Purebred is same Mother same Father end of story.

they will not be purebreds. The only way to get a purebred dog out of your poodle is to breed it to another poodle.

You can give it a cutesy name if you want... its still a mutt. Even cockapoos, labradoodles, goldendoodles, etc, are MUTTS.

I doubt you can sell them.. they are just mutts, and you cant even tell people what the other mix is.

What do you suppose the definition of purebred is?

They would be called mixed breeds.

Possibly, about $50 each

Cost for a litter:

about 1/2 again the amount of food you feed
vitamins

if nothing goes wrong with the whelping...
a whelping box of some sort, lots of bedding and towels
an infants ear syringe to suction puppies mouths
a pair of hemastats/dental floss, alcohol for umbilical cords

vet check for mom and pups after whelping
good quality puppy food for weaning

larger playpen for puppies

before pups go to new homes:
pups to vets with stool samples to check for worms
puppy shots

if something does go wrong with whelping......a LOT of money

They would not be pure bred. If you do not know what pure bred is, I don't think you should be breeding puppies. There are enough stray and homeless animals that are in need of a home with out putting more puppies out there to make some money. You will not make money breeding puppies, with vet bills etc. We breed animals to improve a breed not to make money.
Think also of your poodle she is not a breeding machine.

No, they would not be purebred and depending on what the mutt looks like, would depend on what the puppies would look like and whether you could sell them or not.

Unfortunately, the puppies will be mixed breeds. Like any mixed breeds, they will be called mixed breeds or mutts. I'm sure you can sell these puppies, like other mutts.

a poodle is purebreed. if you mix anything with it besides another poodle it automatically becomes a mutt..i don't care if its a cockapoo or goldendoodle, they are all mutts..some stupid idiot out there came up with the grand idea of giving them fancy names and got tons of money for it..they are all mutts/hybrids whatever you call em!
