I'm 17 and I'm in love with this guy whose 26. In his defense, he thinks I'm 21 because he met me at this 21 and over dance club and I told him I was 21 and in college. My mom doesn't have a clue about him but my sister knows and keeps telling me it won't last but I think it will. And on top of that she's threating to tell our mom if I don't break it off!I don't see what the big deal is. Why does my sister have a problem with this? Is she just jealous or what?

Well, it sure as hell won't be a very good drelationship if its based on a lie!

How can you spend your entire life pretending you are 4 years older than you are?

The big deal: You are a minor, he is not. If you've had sex, he can be charged with statutory rape (this is because you are not old enough to give consent, therefore, even if you say yes, it is not valid.)

You've made some big mistakes. Going to an over 21 dane, pretending you are in college. This relationship must be pretty new, or you haven't spent that much time really discussing the important things (relationships are more than having a man to hold and kiss. Its about being at one with someone else)

Relationships that last are based on honesty. I don't think you are mature enough to be in a relationship with someone that much older than you. Besides...its illegal until you are 18.

Whats more: You don't want your mom to know? Wow! Omg, you will cut her out of your life the rest of it, because of this guy who "is the one"

If it was really going to last, you wouldn't be afraid of telling your mom. There is doubt.
She isn't jealous. She is concerned. With good reason.

So your whole relationship is based on a lie? Do you realize he can get in trouble for being with you because you are under 18, even if he didn't know? Dump him before you ruin his life.

your sister loves you, break it off.

your lying can get the guy arressted, break it off.

you know you should break it off because you do not want mom to know.

26 year olds move a lot faster then 17 year olds. you will be having sex with him before you are ready. break it off.

there is a huge problem -- you have lied to the guy --- if you want something long term then you better come clean in person the next time you see him --- if he is interested he will wait at least until you are 18 ---- if he leaves you i am sorry --- you should have been honest from the beginning

You should brak this off.
It was firstly based on lies.
Not a good way to begin a relationship.
