there is a profound difference between procrastination and sloth, sloth is a way of life,

procrastination could be the order of business so as to not make a mistake

if a person is slothful, they do not do what is important, they ignor the immediate and they do not do the important

sloth leads to poverty of both the soul and the spirit that has application in the physical with loss of job, loss of family and home (as in thrown out due to none payment)

do not confuse fatigue where you do what you can to get by because you are back peddling just to keep your head afloat when overwhelmed with lifes troubles

slothful people don't care, it just does not matter to them,

Procrastination can be a smart thing to do, especially if a solution to the problem might come of its own accord. Sloth is never a positive trait, as the motive is laziness. Harry Truman once said that 9 of 10 demons will end up in the ditch before they get to you, the secret is to kill the demon that actually will reach you, and the rest leave alone.

Not fully, as some procrastination stems from (a belief in) lack of qualities necessary in order to move forward in a timely manner.
I think slothfulness falls under a lack of spiritual perception.

I keep telling myself that I really ought to think about this...
But tomorrow is a better day.

Actually procrastination is a form of laziness, I'm sorry to say...and it is probably my biggest weakness. I know it's a sin in me, and I do intend to deal with it...sooner or later.
So, I guess I'm also a big sloth.
But I don't mind sharing my branch...

I am obsessed with having things done a week ahead of time. That is almost just as bad as procrastinating.

It could also fall under the sin of lust, but in that case, it'd be a very good thing.
