what does it mean to playfully grab a girls waste in passing when you dont know her that well? just wondering...it would be interesting to get some input.

It means move out of the way.
Now that you mention it , I have done this myself without even thinking. If it is in a tight area I have done this instead of rubbing up against them with my lower extremity's I reach out and grab the woman's hips to steady her and myself so either of us fall and to let her know I'm walking around or behind her.........I wouldn't call it a cheap thrill considering I have never stopped and tried to hit on the chick..........................Note to self don't do it with dudes

cheep feel, flirting.
we like small waists. if we are walking with you our arm usually rests there, because your hips stop it.
during sex, it is a good spot to hold on to you.
it means the same as grabbing a breast, but we wont usually get hit.
