Your dog will be just fine. I gave my Poodle Terrier Brandy shrimp before. She never got sick from it.
The shrimp your dog ate is probably healthier/safer than the commercial dog food thats on grocery store shelves.

My dogs eat lobster shell and all. I have a Border Collie, a Basset and a German Shepherd.
We always share shellfish it is good for them,
All my dogs have lived to be 13-16 years old.
So personally, I don't see a problem, but I am NOT a Vet!

Yes it is. I also feed my chihuahua shrimps too. He's just hungry, that's why he grabbed it quickly :)

he should be ok.. it may cause a little stomache upset, expecially if it was breaded/fried or seasoned. I guess a dog can be allergic to seafood like a human can, but the odds of that are slim.

My dogs adore shellfish. With melted butter. They are small, I can afford it.
Canned salmon too.
