What would Christians say we do with great works of Christian art painted by practising homosexuals?

Question

How could a homosexual be tolerated as glorifying god or Jesus? Should such works be destroyed?

I think the da Vinci and the Michaelangelo had better be left where they are Father - I doubt the Vatican would like the Last Judgment peeled of the ceiling of the Cistine Chapel and taken elsewhere and the Last Supper is a Fresco in Milan. The magnificent Caravaggio hangs in a gallery in Ireland.

interesting question...although i'm quite sure none of those gent are practicing homosexuality any longer...if they ever were. we're they? i don't doubt it...but certainly you can provide us with your source, eh?

well...i just wiki'd it...and they aren't well known gay people. in fact, there is only speculation. i have nothing wrong with gay people...in fact, i like your argument and hope they are gay. but, when you say things are fact that are not really fact, you lose me.

We are all fallen in various ways. None of us are perfect and none of us do perfectly good works. In some way everything in creation and every person will somehow make God look great.
What you describe is no different.

On the other hand, accomplishment in one area does not justify a shortfall in another, does it? A holywood actor can make a great movie, but be a drug addict.

The star of The End of The Spear did a good job as an actor and the movie was noteworthy. It doesn't make for a stamp of approval on everything he does. One can appreciate his talent though.

What has art have to do with their lifestyle? At least it was reverential and not in a jar of urine! I'm sure hter are many more works of art and literature for sure that was done by homosexuals. They can be forgiven too. Revelation Chapter 22.

i think that prepare is barely for people who lack the organic expertise in the subject; if a guy or woman applies themself, they might acquire great expertise. A diligent and devoted guy or woman will make each attempt, will bend over backwards, as a manner to realize the wanted consequence. in spite of each little thing, prepare makes suited.
