Whenever she bites you, yelp out really loud as if she has hurt you even though she hasnt. Turn around and ignore her. When she quits give her attention, but if she does it again , repeat the process all over until she can play nice . If she does play nice then praise her to reinforce the good behavior.

That's just pit bull love bites. she thinks shes showing you affection... but yes, you should stop it.
I'm not a fan of paying someone for obedience training, its really not that complicated.
yea, the muzzle holding thing doesn't work. The reason its going to be hard is because she is 2, and been acting this way for a while. but not to worry, you can teach an old dog new tricks.
what i do with my apbts is when i play with them just give them the NO, then continue on playing. just keep it up, lots of positive feedback when she isn't biting you.
as for your feet, same thing, tell her NO each time and leave your feet right where they are. keep the rules strict and tell your guests not to let her bite when she plays and whatnot also.
she'll get the idea, but shes a hyper lovey pit bull. with mine i find that training is never ending. they always want to test your limits and will slowly push the envelope if they can.
sometimes you have to hurt her feelings a little. pits are dogs who live off of your approval and acceptance. she may sit in the corner and sulk for a bit, but soon enough she'll come over to say sorry, so accept her apology and you'll be well on your way to breaking this habit.
Edit:
As for the answer above mine.. that is the exact reason that you should fix this. people have a negative view of our great dogs, and it is up to us to try and show the world that our dogs aren't so bad.
People see our dogs the way they want to. what may be a little love bite to you is "that dog tried to eat me" to the people like him. its sad and really too bad. but that is a whole different subject..
as for what he really said about the issue at hand, he is right. if you tolerate it, shell keep it up. if at any point in time you let on to the fact that its cute(which it is a little bit) shell keep it up..

got to a horse supply store. they have a spray that keeps horses to stop biting the wood in their pens. spray this directly on your shoes. then some on a gloge. put them on and let it get a little nibble. it will never want to taste that again. also binacca works spray directly in the dogs mouth. peppermint works best. it will get the dog to stop and keep dog breath down. or try vinager and lemon juice in a spray bottle and spray directly in to mouth. if the dog is gentile when it bits you that is good. that means it is a soft mouth, wont bit anyone unless it feels you are in danger. but give those a try if it dont work hit me up for more tips. I've had pits all my life. they are the best dogs ever.

Dogs should not be allowed to bite anyone ever. Even if it is jut for fun, it can still lead to problems later on. If your dog touches you with her teeth, turn around and ignore her. Once she calms down turn back around and give her attention. If she touches you with her teeth again, turn back around and ignore her. You want to teach her that if she bites, she gets ignored, If she doesn't bite, she gets attention. This might take a while if she has been allowed to play bite her entire life. If you are having a hard time teaching her, you can always talk to a professional dog trainer.

I have a 2 year old dog who play bites. She bites me at least 50 times a day. She thinks i am her chew toy. But she does not bite my wife. She only bites me. My wife does not tolerate her biting. But to be perfectly honest about it, i think it is cute. And there is no doubt in my mind but that Josie KNOWS full well that I think it is cute. This is why she does it. I think she senses my tacit approval. I wish i could be more of a help. But you may want to think about the messages you may be giving your dog. Believe me, dogs are not stupid. They know FAR more than they are given credit.
As far as the pit bull situation goes, i have no advice beyond making every effort to avoid that particular breed. Pit bulls have a truly vile reputation that is unmatched. I will not let my dog any where near a pit bull. Nor will i let one anywhere near me.

Starks answer is right on target. I have two pitbulls and they know better then using their teeth on anyone. I have spent alot of time trainihg them and being very consistent with how they are treated. It didn't take them long to learn that when they are good they are much happier.
