.to live instead of flooding our borders, in violation of US Immigration Laws? Please explain why you have to be here? Why our phones should be in Spanish or signs in stores? it's crazy. Because in Mexico, you certainly don't recipricate.
It would be better if you had to be here that you chose to do it not as law breakers, but as genuine honest citizen seeking people, don't you think?

All I am saying is all the illegal mexicans here--why? No other country has millions and millions of illegals here taking jobs. My forefathers were British, so, of course we're here now. Mexico fought us so they could have their own country. SO why don't they stay there? That's my question. I built a company from the ground up--myself--and now provide employment to many people.
What have you done?

rainyday

Her first sentence is self explanatory. She is talking about those LIVING IN OUR COUNTRY IN VIOLATION OF OUR IMMIGRATION LAWS. Obviously, then, she's talking about ILLEGAL ALIENS. Perhaps if I put it in all caps you will comprehend it better.

So your entire rant about those living here legally has nothing to do with this post. The question is about ILLEGAL ALIENS.

P.S.

The question IS posted in the correct section. It's a question about illegal aliens IN the United States.

EDIT:

OK I read your answer again. What is happening in Mexico and those that STAYED in Mexico and are trying to make it a better place has nothing to do with the question. The question is why don't people STAY in their own country and make it a better place? The question is about the tens of millions of people here in violation of our immigration laws. BTW, it's great that there are those are trying to do something about it. The question is about those that are NOT, and instead invade our country and make us victims as well.

I corrected my gender mistake. Are you going to correct YOUR misinterpretation of the post as well?? She was clearly talking about illegal aliens.

P.S. your presumption that there are not illegals on this site is wrong on two counts.
1. Not all illegals speak Spanish.
2. There are illegals that speak English.

EDIT 2: I agree rainyday. Peace. have a nice day.

I have asked this question in various formats and cannot get an answer from these people or their willing legal mexican accomplices. I do not understand why Mexican Americans stand behind these law breakers who will bring down a country which has provided a good living for them. I guess when its looks like the war zone of ole Mececo they will be satisfied.

Sara: You are embarrassing us. The British, as a matter of fact, have thousands of illegal immigrant problems, too. From Eastern Europe now. So does most of Europe; they are flooding in like flies to honey. I have family there and hear things all the time.

No country is safe, so learn some facts before you post.

Yes, you are correct that people should come in by law abiding procedures. But America is not the only place this is happening in; and it is not only illegal Mexcians. Asians, too.

I understand what you are saying. Believe me I see it everyday let me tell you the two biggest problems in Mexico Corruption and the laws against common citizen not being able to own guns. How can you defend you country , your family , and you rights as a country if the common person can even own a weapon. How can you overthrow a government when the only ones with weapons is the government and the cartel's which in Mexico one owns the other.

The reason you can't fathom the motives of these people might be that as someone born in one of the most affluent countries in the world, whose lineage possibly goes back to the first British colonists to take settle in this land, you are on the inside, looking out, so to speak. On the other hand, these people, who may be facing conditions and hardships you find it difficult to imagine, are on the outside looking in. As far as whether what they are doing is legal or not, you may be right. But then again, maybe you are one of the fortunate ones to have never been so desperate to save yourself and your children that you had to resort to illegal means to do so. Laws , particularly the type you are referring to, immigration laws, are made by men, not God. Don't judge these people too harshly,, leave the judgment up to God. BTW, i'm a WASP, born and raised in an affluent, nouveau riche Park Avenue family, literally. But i'm all too aware that there are people who did not grow up in such fortunate circumstances, and it's hard for me to pass judgment on what they are doing. You also have to realize that although you may not be one of them, there are plenty of business owners that are all too willing to exploit these people's desperation by employing them to do work at wages the average American wouldn't accept, because to them, "substandard" wages might be seen as very good indeed, in comparion with what they would be earning by staying in their own country. It's not an easy issue to resolve, certainly, but i'm not sure i understand the mentality of those who take a holier-than-thou attitude and find it impossible to fathom the motives of these people. In your next life, maybe you will be born a poor Mexican and have to resort to the very acts you are so quick to criticize these people for. I guess that would be some kind of karmic justice. In the meantime, just be glad you're not one of them and enjoy your sense of entitlement and life of relative privilege as a white American in a country where you were born speaking the language and don't have to worrry about your citizenship status. Don't dehumanize these people. If you were in their place and had children and a family living in poverty, you might take the same chances their taking...and face the same intolerance in the process....

Again I have to explain that all Mexicans are not here illegally and it is not the only group that is here ilegally either. You are listening to the media exaggerate. Some shmuck sits at a computer and uses a garbage formula to estimate there are millions of illegals here. How are those numbers figured? They are guessed nothing more. FYI, most labor is done by illegal workers these days i.e, homebuilding, farming, landscaping, etc. I have seen it for myself. One more thing....none of our ancestors came here legally. Everyone just got off the boat at Ellis island or came with the Pilgrims. I'm sure you have not hired any Mexican person to work at your company. they are probably all white.

They don't because they would rather leech off of us. And to the jaggoff who mentioned the TJ firefighters in Chula Vista, you need to get your wording right. Because the way you just said that implied that you're putting firefighters and dirty illegals in the same group. I don't hate mexicans, just illegal ones. And what about the firefighters from all over THIS country volunteering their time and energy? They get no credit from you or any of the other liberals out there. Why? Because you would rather support and praise a group of people that don't represent our country. I live in Southern California and am only a few blocks away from being evacuated. Don't try to give them credit and not American firefighters a bit of it.

For the Same Reason that the US cannot stay w/in its own borders.
The corruption you see in Mexico is the corruption you & I placed there. Natural Resource. Yes, we send millions in disguise of drug warfare and we know where it goes.
As for the phones in spanish, complain to the FCC, they allowed it - it is called free enterprise, corporate america is taking advantage & reaping millions while ppl like us are ranting.

First off to David S don't try to say that mexico helped us with the fires wow! big deal we could have done it ourselves. And for manuel they come here cause everything is free for them mexicans from mexico don't want to make it better for themselves they want free hand outs. I say why don't they protest in their country to their very rich president for the needs and wants that they want but nooo come to the U.S and take take take.

You should go to Los Angeles Ca and see the mess they made there. There is MS 13 and others taxing working people and killing people over "THEIR" hood please these idiots don't even pay taxes and then they go around saying this is my hood come on i say police need to clean house.

However this opening the borders from Mex, U.S and Canada well this crap happend in the EU they hid it from the people in till it got so bad that it was irreversible and they had no choice but to make it the EU union. This is what Bush is doing selling us out and we Americans need to wake up. Check out save our state.com And all i can say why i think this is hapening well the Bush administration is all about $$$ and power and they will sell out their own family for it. As for Fox this guy is a lost puppy under bush. It costs us 10 millon a day to fund Bushes war in Iraq wow what can we do with that money in America well lets see medical for all Americans and straighten our borders and Law enforcement.

Illegals will contunue to flood our borders intill we do something about it meaning get involed, call your senators, vote and tell them that you dont want this crap and let Bush know that we know of his plan to destroy America. And last for all you people that think "llegal"mothers having babies in the U.S. is ok, well look up the 14 Amendment.
