Oooh, touchy subject. I don't like the bilingual education thing. English is our language. You want to use my schools, you have to use my language. I think that if you can't speak english by kindergarten, you should not be allowed in school until you do.

I find nothing wrong with being Bi-lingual.
However if you come to an American school you need to speak English, talk whatever in the sancity of your own house.

This is one of the reasons I dropped out of college.

This country caters too much to people who are not American, and the Liberal Education touted by the University System is only contributing to the downfall of America and American values and interests. The Government istself and the education system work together for this goal by forcing these programs on our immpressionable children by forcing the teachers to immplement these programs. I know of specific teachers who do this to save their careers while secretly hating it.

The main underlying message that is insiduosly promoted by Universities is not just a world awareness. It is promoting one embracing world in which the proper action is to look out for the entire worlds interest before one country, family, or person.

I am not racist, there are very few people in America whom can actually claim to be of only one race, I am not one of them, I have different races in my family bloodlines; however I am very Nationalistic and believe that promoting ANY agenda to decrease pride in America is wrong.

The universities wish to promote a global community.

I look at the rest of the world and ask: "What can all these poor third world cesspools offer my children other than a lower standard of living so as to even everyone who is not part of the ruling classes?"

I realize that I strayed off the actual subject of the question and I am sorry, this multiple language in school and society only weakens our country.

And no, I didn't drop out of school because I was doing badly. I had a 3.96 GPA. I am also a 38 year old man who could no longer silently attend with fools who had achieved an education but had no actual intelligence of original thoughts.
Society equates a piece of paper with intelligence, watching faux intelectuals push an agenda and influence young college kids to believe they are thinking creativly and critically while only regurgitating what they have been taught is sickening.

Immersion has consistently been shown to be the most efficient way to quickly achieve functional command of a language. The US military uses immersion to impart a basic functional understanding of a new language in a matter of weeks. Bi-lingual education, OTOH, has consistently failed to impart adequate command of the English language. The only reason it's been so broadly and zealously embraced is that it is compatible with the currently fashionable dogma of multi-culturalism.

to not have one language causes divisiveness. if you allow one accommodation for more then one language then it's too easy to have others demand the same thing. then where are we? This was said by Teddy Roosevelt - "The one absolutely certain way of bringing this nation to ruin, of preventing all possibility of continuing as a nation at all, would be to permit it to become a nation of squabbling nationalities."

I won't discriminate if you're bilingual, but you sure as hell better not try to force your damn language down my throat.
