Females Only: If a woman "wants" to cuddle a man let's say at the movies on a first date....?

does that also mean woman is sending out the signal that she is open to petting? I heard something like this on the radio today..what do you think ladies? If you are very much interested in cuddling a man on a date, do you also expect something more which might lead to perhaps more intimacy?

I guess it depends on the maturity level..
i've been on first dates where the guy would put his hand on my knee or kiss me on the cheek which is sweet but any type of petting or holding hands would freak me out..

In other words, it's not talking about sex at all, but a location... two men cannot lie down in a woman's bed... for any reason, not even a nap.

A woman has the right to say no anywhere along the line. But, a wise woman is also aware that many men get turned on by "cuddling", and is considerate of the man's responses. She could always ask if he wanted to cuddle, knowing it would not lead to intimacy and allow him to decide. Clear communication in the beginning helps to avoid misunderstandings later.

Many women have unrealistic expectations when it comes to physical intimacy. Don't waste your time looking for a logical answer or any kind of agreement among women because it's not going to happen. Different women want different things, and even the same women change their minds about what they want and expect you to magically know the difference.

If a girl wants to cuddle it doesn't necessarily mean she wants more. At least not for me. Cuddling on a first date is a lot different than being intimate on a first date for girls.

If I'm in a movie theater I would expect my date to have some respect and let me enjoy the movie without being perched on all night. Have self control and she will like that. Be a gentleman. All women don't like public display of affection.

As a guy (I had to read it tho it said girls only) I had to respond. Cuddling represents feeling comfortable and intimate. The answer is yes. The signal is quite clear to a guy to be gentle, sensitive and know when to stop. However, I think we should experiment first and I would be open to any takers!

it depends on the female, some females, we just want to CUDDLE. That doesnt even make sense to say that just b/c a woman wants to cuddle she wants to get more intimate. I mean it could mean that, thats whats wrong with us, we should do less non verbal and more VERBAL, and tell man what u want! They cant read our minds!
