You sounds like you have oily or combination skin. The best thing is to keep it always clean and use oil controlling lotion, as well as getting facial treatment. I would recommend first selecting a very good cleanser for your face, that removes the oil, yet keep your skin moisturized. Secondly, use a toner after cleaning your face because toner can tightens the pores, which is the reason why you have large amount of oil because you have enlarged pores. Next, after toner, put on a oil controlling lotion that hydrates but also controls oil during the day. Then finally make sure you put on sun screen.
You have oilly skin because your pores are enlarged due to black heads and dead skin that filled up the glands under the skin. The only way to remove all these dead skin and black heads is to get a facial treatments at least once every 2 weeks to keep the glands under the skin clean and clear. Then follow the instruction above, and it will take about 3 months for your skin to adapt, but it will work.
good luck!

Exfoliants work well, but sometimes the ones from the pharmacy can dry out your face, which is exactly what you DONT want.
This scrub is perfect for your problem. It removes dead cells that clog pores (which can cause acne and oily skin) while making your skin soft with a positive glow to it! Plus the teansy drop of oil will moisturize your face lightly without making your skin oily. PERFECT.
Sugar Scrub
The sugar and lemon in this recipe exfoliate and revitilize, while the oil lightly moisturizes.
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoon oil (canola - leave it out if ur skin is extra oily)
juice from 1/4 lemon
3 tbls water
Combine all ingrediants in a small container with and airtight lid.
Wash your face with your regular scrub and warm water. Dry, then splash again with water. Take a scoop from the jar (It will be grainy - its supposed to so dont add too much liquid!) and rub all over your face. It will sting slightly. Rise with warm water. Pat dry with a soft, clean towel.
WOW! Doesnt your face feel great now! Plus, if you use it in the morning, it will wake you up completely. Dont touch your face too much though. You dont wanna transfer oils to your clean, fresh, un-oil face!
There will be extra scrub left over so you can use it again. It will last about a week and a half in the jar stored in a cool, dry place. But dont use it too often or youll over-exfoliate!
You can also use it in the shower all over your skin. If you shave after, you'll get a smoother, closer shave. Just make sure you wash it all off, or you'll go out with sugar all over your body and it will be uncomfortable. believe me.

There r numerous products created for your situation. U will need 2 find what is best 4 u. I use Panoxl 10% (main ingredient [benzoyl peroxide]). U can get it @ the pharmacy counter @ most stores. It also comes in 5%. It works great 4 me. It is a little bit pricey, but might be worth it. It comes in a bar or foam and lasts me over 3 months. Use it twice a day just like your cleansing routines have always been. If u use a toner or astringent be sure it has no alcohol in it. Alcohol seems as if it helps, but in the long run it overstimulates your oil glands. That could be a contribution 2 your problem now. Use a light moisturizer with sun protection in it, also avoiding oil production from sun exposure defense. Also, find your moisture product with salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide in it. Not only helping with oil production, but acne as well. Excessive oil & acne r in the same field of problems. I hope it helps!

Mix baking soda with water, put that on your face, for about 3 minutes (in especially oily places e.g nose , chin, forehead)
but this is dry out your skin! so use a little moisturiser afterwards, only a little though, because otherwise your just making it oily again lol
i hope i helped:):)

join a swim team, I was a swimmer in HS. I was in the pool every day during season and I never had a zit on my face, it dries it out a little but very gradually so it stays soft, even if you use lotion on your face you won't be oily and you can get in great shape while solving your problem!

i have the same problem and this is what i do:
in the morning clean ur face with clean and clear morning burst with shine control.
or just any facial scrub.
then i use and clean and clear shine control powder & dust a little bronzer on.
if u dont have the shine control powder its fine, just use a bronzer or blush to control the shine.
try not to use lotions on ur face, it only adds more oil and will dry ur face.
stick to powders to cover up&blend

MAC cosmetics makes a face lotion for oily skin. It keeps your face moist but helps it to not look greasy. It works great.

Use Clean & Clear Oil Absorbing Sheets. You just blot your face with them throughout the day. It doesn't take make -up off or dry your skin out. I love them! I keep a package of them in my purse and use them daily!
