Hello, all:
My monthly full moon group is meeting this Saturday night, which is actually on the waning moon, and I'm having a hard time coming up with a piece of spellwork for the ritual. I'm working on a few ideas, but thought I'd use Y!A to inject some "fresh blood" into the process.
Does anyone have any recommendations for a waning moon spell? (Preferably something with simple physical components.) I was thinking of something to do with this time of year, a time of introspection and conserving of resources.
Thank you in advance to all who take the time to help.

And to those of you who are taking time NOT to help... I'm happy that you garnered two points, but sad that you just wasted several valuable seconds of your life.

If you haven't signed up for "moon messages" yet, take a look at this site:

It always helps me decide what to focus on, and from there, the spell work I need to do usually just reveals itself. The messages are LOOOONG, but very, very informative.

A waning moon is perfect for doing NEGATIVE spellwork, even spellwork of a positive nature can be done by "banishing" it's opposite. for example, if you want to get more money then banishing that LACK of money would be appropriate at the waning moon. It's also a good time to banish negative feelings or bad habits. An execllent time to do a "quit smoking or drinking" spell is during the waning moon right after a full moon, as it'll be under full power by the next NEW moon.

Just a thought, but maybe a combination of the moon "going away" and the moon being connected with water you could do a spell to help the fires in California go away. It seems the balance has already been upset among the elements with the fire being so strong and air helping to make it strong with the Santa Ana winds and earth being weak with all the dry ground you could try and tip the balance in water's favor and increase the strength of water and earth and weaken fire and air.

It would depend on your intended purpose for the spell. Definitely use the "remove/banish" herbs such as Agrimony, Garlic, Cloves, Wormwood, etc. Always command negative energy away from you as opposed to attempting to attract positive energy.

Teehee, you SO tempt me to make a bad pun out of it.
Good spell "for" the waning moon? I don't think she really cares, darling.

I highly recommend this which I have used in the past with much success: Tic-toc, tic-toc. Nightinight and z, z, z for you all. Noche, noche! Remember to drink a sip of fine wine at the end.
Cheers.
