I go to a K-8 grade school.
I'm in 7th grade and my neighbor is in 4th. we used to be friends and i'd look after him in the park and he would ride bikes with my now in 5th grade sister. But every time i see him in the hall way he jut glances ant me and keeps walking. I'm not offended (he's 9 im 13 y should i be?) but would like to know what's up with him.
Is it his age or what?

think about it, when you were in 4th grade and someone almost 4 years older than you talked to you, it was pretty huge. and also nerve wracking... hes probably just scared'
and
your a girl, and hes aguy. 4-5th grade is when they really start to think girls are weird

If you really want to know what's up with him, your only chance is to ask him. We can all make guesses but only he knows although he may not be open to talking. You could try the short but direct approach of "I noticed you never say hi to me in the halls and I was just wondering if I've upset you or something?". He may open up but he may just say something like "I dunno" in which case I would just continue to be polite and forget about it.

Try and have a talk with him and find out. Maybe his parents can shed some light on this situation.

I am 11 years old I still kinda always think girls are gross but in my head i do like girls :P

Did he and your sister have a falling-out? Maybe he has a crush on you or your sister and is embarrassed?

i considered most girls ( of all ages ) brainless and had no real reason to talk to them until i was 12-13.... ofc .. different times, different country..

maybe he's havin a hard day? he could be prioccupied and thinking bout sumthing? who knows. just ask him if u guys r still friends?

maybe he needs time away for you right now you can't always think he is going to be on your tail for ever i mean they grow up fast and then start to act differently......

he is at that age where he might be noticing girls. Take it as a compliment..Maybe he is embarrassed because he secretly likes you.
