C7#9 can be depicted in several chord formations, but the following is useful:

It's a C7 with an Eb on top. That's all there is to it.

X X 10 9 11 11 is a high voicing. X 3 2 3 4 X is a lower voicing.

In ascending order: C, E, B flat, E flat.

I can't illustrate it, but put your middle finger on the C on the fifth string (third position); your index finger on the E (fourth string, second position); your ring finger on the B flat (third string, third position) and your pinkie on the E flat (second string, fourth position).

It's the fabled Jimi Hendrix chord, beloved of the master and used in such songs as 'Foxy Lady' and 'Purple Haze', although in those cases it's E7sharp9.
