today in class i was not understanding something and my friend was trying to explain it to me. i was getting aggrivated and i was kinda snapping at her.

i guess my teacher heard because he goes "jaimee, do you need to come up to my desk?"
(it didnt sound very conforting but it wasnt that rude sounding) and i was like "no, im good", and my teacher was like "No, im telling you to come up to my desk" (here it sounded strict)
but when i got up there he was just like "it sounds like you were getting aggrivated and i just want to make sure you werent getting frustrated with this assignment"
he also was not making any attempt to lower his voice here...

i feel embarrased now, do you think he was angry/annoyed??

the reason i ask is because i dont need to be getting into any arguments with teachers, seeing as i will be with them everyday for the rest of the year...

Perhaps more impatient than angry or annoyed. He was trying to make a point, and apparently didn't take the time to be soothing...... I'd try not to take it personally. He's likely already put the incident behind him, so so should you.

it sounds like he was making two points one is don't be disruptive in the class. 2, he wanted to know if he can help you better understand the assignment.

teachers are human two they don't always do the right thing. he should have been more sensitive by not being loud so the whole class can here.

next time, instead of losing your top try to stay cool. if you still don't understand the assignment then wait till after class for the teachers help that way he wont make the mistake of ebarrassing you in class. that's assuming that the assignment can be picked up the following day.

good luck.

Neither. He sounds like a really nice teacher. He was trying to keep his class in line. I wouldn't worry about it.

I'm sure you're fine. I wouldn't worry about that, maybe he just noticed your frustration you were giving to your friend, and gave it back to you. Bottom line, I'm sure he wasn't angry, more concerned! Good luck!
