i found them in a crate behind a store and i cant keep them for a long time, so some of my friends might want them but their parents want to know the breed first

It's pretty hard to even guess without seeing them from the front...

It`s really hared to tell without seeing them standing but the line down their backs almost makes me think maybe Rhodesian Ridge backs, but that`s only a guess with the photo your showing.

Sweetie, while it's very nice of you to care about the puppies, it is also very dangerous to do so without your mommy or daddy's permission, because the doggies could be very sick (rabies, fleas, etc), which might make you and your family sick, too!
Tell your mommy and daddy about the puppies, and ask them to take the pups back where they were found (maybe the owner put them down for a minute, walked into a store, and then came out to find they were gone, and is now crying about them!), or to take the pups to an animal shelter, where the nice people there will find good homes for the cuties!
Promise that you won't ever do that again, okay?

They resemble my shepherd/chow mix puppy from the coat and coloring. Do they have any black around the eyes...like eyeliner? But, mine has a black spotted tongue and a fluffy curled tail.

Could be anything... German Shepherds, Belgian Malinois... possibly Mastiffs? Or some type of mix....

MY GUESS would be german shepherd, but it is really impossible ro say for sure from the backs of tiny pups.

it could be a big dog or a small dog or anything. but if their feet are big then they will probably be big when they grow up. the backs look kind of like my puppy who is a miniature pinscher/sheltie mix. cute!!!

kinda hard to tell from this picture. the coloring is shepherd, but really they could be anything mixed.

It's hard to say w/ out seeing their faces, but if I HAD to guess, I'd say a mix between chow & german shephard.
