Your question is asked with great regularity. Atheism is a belief, deduction, or philosophy; a- the-ism is defined as a belief in no god, "a" meaning "no"; "the" meaning "god"; "ism" meaning "belief" or "philosophy". Where else but in the R&S section would atheists discuss their ideas and the reasons that they have arrived at those concepts?
What about the monkeys? No doubt, you are referring to the theory of evolution, yes? Another frequent and erroneous subject addressed by theists. A common ancestor on the primates' evolutionary tree is the answer. Because, one rejects evolution for theistic reasons does not automatically cancel the proofs of the theory!
