Here is what i was able to find [as reference] to save you time:
Watchtower 1988, Jan 1; pg 11-p 8. - [However, they are not alone. John, in another vision, sees the sealing of the final ones of the 144,000. (Revelation 7:1-8) Evidently, the gathering of these was virtually complete by 1935]
I would definately say we got the JWs on this one and maybe confidently say "IT IS A PROBLEM."
But notice the key word to the last sentence. Yes, the word virtually. Look it up in the dictionary. Virtually: || for the most part; almost whole; just about; almost but not quite;||
Isn't it only fair to say that the Watchtower or the JWs did not put a period on that date of 1935 regarding the complete number or fulfillment of the anointed number of 144k?
I found another one. Let's use their Revelation book page 125, chapter 20 paragraph 18. [18. Their being identified in 1935 as the great crowd of other sheep was an indication that the choosing of the 144,000 was then about complete.]
Another good reference to use against the Witnesses-- their own book and understanding of the Revelation. But again, what is wrong with the sentence regarding the completion of 144k in 1935? the word "about." What is that mean? The word [about] means: // nearly; almost; not far off; on the verge of;||--
Again, the Watchotower or the JWs did not put a period on the date/year of 1935 in regards to the complete fulfillment of the 144k.
From my understanding from what i've been reading regarding the number of 144 thousand vs. the 1935 (supposed) complete of it, the year 1935 was not even really about the 144 thousand. It was more focused on recognizing the other sheep with earthly hope. It was in 1935 when the JWs witnesses recognized and realized that millions of people will inherit the earth. That was the focus...the multitude of people with earthly hope and not the completion of the 144 thousand.
PLEASE NOTE.... my comments above are just my own understanding of what i've read. This is not, at least not confirmed information from the Watchotwer or the Jehovah's witnesses. I am not a JW so i hope my words and opinion will not be used against them.

no not at all.
The final sealing has not taken place. These ones with a heavenly calling must prove faithful to death. This does not guarantee that all will.As imperfect men and women some may still fall away before their due time to take up their heavenly positions. In that case,Jehovah fills those positions with newly annointed. There is no contradiction. The focus prior to 1935 was on the ingathering of the anointed class and since 1935 the call had gone out to the other sheep. This is still the case. There was never anything said that ALL anointed would be gathered in before 1935
The only problem lies with your lack of understanding.

1935 has NEVER been claimed to be any cutoff point for the anointed. simply when the focus was switched to the great crowd. however, the fact that you invoke conversations to make the witnesses look bad without doing research, in other words your an apostate, is oddly comforting. in your own way YOU are fulfilling scripture right here on yahoo. if it wasn't for people like you one of the bibles prophecies would be yet to be fulfilled. minus the yahoo part.

According to Isaiah 26:15-18, God's spiritual nation expands its symbolic "borders" during the distress of the tribulation. In fact, just as the 12th chapter of Revelation depicts the difficult birth of the kingdom, Isaiah's prophecy foretells that complications will set in during "delivery" of the nation.
Those verses read: "You have added to the nation; O Jehovah, you have added to the nation; you have glorified yourself. You have extended afar all the borders of the land. O Jehovah, during distress they have turned their attention to you; they have poured out a whisper of prayer when they had your disciplining. Just as a pregnant woman draws near to giving birth, has labor pains, cries out in her birth pangs, so we have become because of you, O Jehovah. We have become pregnant, we have had labor pains; as it were, we have given birth to wind. No real salvation do we accomplish as regards the land, and no inhabitants for the productive land proceed to fall in birth."
The prophecy noted above indicates that the "birth" of the sons and daughters of the kingdom is a virtual stillbirth—necessitating Jehovah to perform a miracle of salvation.
So the point is that it is premature to say that God has finished his work in regards to gathering all of his sons and daughters.
And again, according to Jesus the final gathering of the chosen ones of the kingdom takes place during the tribulation. That is when "he will send forth his angels with a great trumpet sound, and they will gather his chosen ones together from the four winds, from one extremity of the heavens to their other extremity."

No, nor is it a problem.
Incidentally, Jehovah's Witnesses have never believed or taught that one must be born before 1935 to be anointed.

How does anyone have time to work on things like the fruitage of the spirit when they are so busy dotting i's and crossing t's. Starting to remind me of the Pharisees. Since you aren't annointed, don't worry about it.
