Before and after some of our christian brothers and sisters pray, they make a sing of the cross. Touch the forehaed with you right hand, then the chest, the left shoulder and lastly the right shoulder. When I practically draw two lines to make a cross, the line going across is on the lower side of the line from the forehead to the chest. Isn't that an upside down cross??

So what if it is? The Cross of St. Peter is just as valid a Christian sign as is the normal cross.

I've always viewed the sign of the cross, not as a cross but as a reminder to use our "Minds", "Hearts" and "Abilities" for God. It's also a reminder of the Triune nature of God (Father, Son and Holy Spirit).

Perhaps, but I don't know of anyone in the early church making the sign of a cross after praying. The earliest christian symbol was a fish.

An old phrase to remember this was,

"Spectacles, testicles, wallet, watch"

When it used to be more common to carry one's wallet in the left lapel pocket and a pocket watch in the right.

There are Christian religions that don't do this at all.

AMEN. The Holy Spirit is working in you. AMEN and Amen.

The Trinity like itself is being taught by us through the infilling of the Holy Spirit, John 14:16; John 14:26, for apart from being Born Again in the Spirit of God, the signing of the corss is only more on a man-made commandments, rituals and doctrines whicih imagination of those men who established such practices to show, worshiping God by such practices, yet Lord Jesus said; Mat 15:8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoreth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.
For truly no one can worship God and Lord Jesus Christ apart from being Born Again; Joh 4:23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshipers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
Joh 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
And as also said; Php 2:13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
That what God is saying is we can do nothing to really do the good works He wanted us to do if the Holy Spirit is not in us!
Joh 15:3 Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.
Joh 15:4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
Joh 15:5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
Therefore, not only an upside down cross but it is upside down way of worshiping God and Lord Jesus Christ, this signing of the corss is truly a flase doctrine and commandments of men; Act 5:28 Saying, Did not we straitly command you that ye should not teach in this name? and, behold, ye have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this man's blood upon us.
Act 5:29 Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.
Act 5:30 The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom ye slew and hanged on a tree.
Act 5:31 Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Savior, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.
Act 5:32 And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him.

That we obey God's Holy Words; He is gracious and merciful to fill us with His Holy Spirit! That's why Lord Jesus Chrits has commanded us;
Mat 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
Mat 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Mat 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

That Lord Jesus Christ is always with those who truly are Born Again Christians;
2Co 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
2Co 5:18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
2Co 5:19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. AMEN.
