That's really not something the police should be "called" for but I think you could possibly go down to a police station to file a report. Also, you will probably have to get a private investigator and then go to small claims cout if you can contact this person. Witnesses are good to have. Good luck.

Thats what happens when you try to get something for nothing. File a police report. Could be worse. You could have gotten caught with a stolen IPod.

yes call the police and give them the license plate number. hope you didn't buy the ipod because it might be stolen property.

Sure, if you have his plate number they MIGHT catch him.
