I do not know what Moksha is but I do know what the meaning of salvation is. Salvation is the most beautiful experience one can ever have. I do not know anything about your faith or how you may feel about our Heavenly Father but it does not matter because HE is always there waiting for you to call upon Him no matter what. All you have to do is ask him to come into your heart and believe that He was born of a virgin, that He died on the cross for all of our sins and that he arose from the grave.
He will forgive of all sins and you will feel such a great relief knowing you are a child of the King. Study your Bible and start going to a church of your choice. You will never regret your salvation and He will be there for you any time you need Him.

Gentleman, I have not done my usual thorough research on what Moksha exactly means.I believe it is some form of Transmigration of your Soul after bodily death. However salvation in the Christian sense mean that you will be rewarded for living a good moral life according to the Scriptures of the Holy Bible and the Words of Jesus Christ. It means the results of being a true christian believer who has kept Faith will go to Heaven rather than hell after you die. It's a long story but what basically happened was that God saw the whole world in sin(much as now) and sent his Son, Jesus Christ, down to earth to atone for our sins. The idea was that he would take all of our confessed to sins on his shoulders by being crucified. You've heard the statement "He bore the burden for our sins"?All of this was supposedly prophesized in the Old Testament. He set about to find disciples(12) and evangelize the world of Gentile(non-Jews).That meant He tried to convert them to Christianity. But if you read the Bible you find that the laws he set forth are virtually impossible to be lived by human beings. It is my guess that he died on the Cross in Vain as I have never yet met anyone worthy of heaven.I see hypocrites, liars, thieves, murders, and all sorts of immoral people dwelling on the face of the earth.Maybe not all men are doomed to hell, but I know none.As a Society we have made many advancements but how many can we contribute to an all-knowing,allpowerful,God who is everywhere at the same time.and can read your thoughts. Here's a God who made us human but refuses to allow us to be human without imposing an unbearable amount of Guilt upon us.I've made an incredibly long story too short but they just do not give you the space to completely answer questions in this brief Forum.Salvation basically means you have thrown off your old sins by asking for Forgiveness from Jesus Christ. Then supposedly you become a new-born person, worthy of Heaven. There are a few other Rituals that must be performed, such as Baptism but that is basically Salvation. You have saved your soul from the toment of Hell.Remember all this is contingent on your personal belief in an afterlife.I mean a further question may be considered. What is a Soulor Spirit or General and Individual Consciousness? There are those who deem it "Nothingness".I believe it exists but I just don't know where.I have the Faith but lack the Knowledge. You know Gentleman I wish there were a means by which we could communicate other than through these questons and answers only.We have much to discuss. Salvation is what you receive from Jesus Christ when you accept him as your personal savior. This is salvation of your immortal soul for all eternity. When you walk with the Lord and your physical body dies...your soul goes to be with Jesus. The Bible states to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. It also says every knee will bend and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. He will one day ride the white horse, he is the King who will remember my name!

salvation is the term used in Christianity when a person repents of his or her sins and asks Jesus Christ into their lives. Christ then gives the Holy Spirit to live in that person and act as Guide, Comforter, etc.
