you cant use flea control on puppies that age you will have to remove them by hand,
fill up your bath and use some diluted hair conditioner and rub it on the puppies coat and then the fleas will be able to be picked out.
you will have to do this several times until the fleas have gone.
advantage which is a topical flea treatment can be used from 7 weeks of age

It says 'Not for Puppies under 12 weeks of age' - this is not a joke message, this is a genuine warning! You can't use it on the dog. Return the collar to the store if you can. Flea collars do NOT get rid of fleas. The chemicals in them do not spread through the skin, they do nothing. Get a proper flea treatment from a vets, they're the only ones that work. For one thing, you won't find ANY flea treatment in a pet store that can be used on puppies under 12 weeks of age, and for another thing, these products shouldn't be used on any animal of any age, they're so worthless - and often dangerous. Frontline, Revolution etc can be used on your puppy if he weighs over four and a half pounds. If he's less than this in weight, you'll have to use the spray version of Frontline which is safe for 2 day old puppies. Chalice

NO COLLARS! They are very useless, and should not even be put on adult animals. Think about it: the pesticide is in the collar, but it does not spread throughout the skin. Therefore, the fleas only have to avoid the neck area to survive!
You need something from a vets. Spot-ons can only be used from 8 weeks of age, but Frontline Spray can be used from 2 days of age. Get some.
Don't use Dawn or any flea shampoos or whatever else people on here are going to suggest. Don't use anything from a pet store, because none of these things work, and many are dangerous even for adult animals.

The only thing I can think of is dish soap. Animal shelters use it to kill fleas and I dont think it would harm puppies because it's just dish soap. I would leave the soap on them for about 10 minutes to make sure the fleas die. Also check out Revolution, I'm not sure but I think it might be safe for puppies 6 weeks old & older.

There is no safe flea product for puppies this young. The only safe thing to use is a flea comb.
Also NEVER use OTC flea products (this includes collars) on ANY dog/puppy. They are ineffective and they are not safe. They can cause skin irritation, skin burns, neurological issues, seizures & death. We deal with so many dogs/cats, kittens/puppies at the hospital that have been seriously harmed by oTC products...use a safe product from your vet.
Frontline is safe to use on puppies as young as 8 weeks of age.

Puppies under 12 weeks should never had flea products put on them. You will not believe me - but try this. It works. I use it with all my puppies before they go to their new homes.
Wash your puppy with Ivory Dish Soap. Make it all lathery and leave it stand for about 3 minutes before rinsing.
Not only will it kill fleas, but it is actually PH balanced to a dog and so won't dry his skin or cause itching.
Very safe and can be repeated as needed.

see thats what I dont understand my pup just hit 12 weeks and it shows on his report I got from his breeder that he had Frontline at 9 week mark, isnt that bad for puppies at that age, I mean there is nothing I can do now and hes not showing signs of sickness but if a flea collar is bad that has to be much worse. I think its flea shampoo and then wait for the best till 12 weeks old.

No flea product is safe for a 6 week old. If they have fleas, wash them in Dawn dishsoap. Flea collars aren't safe at all, for dogs or humans.

Hi, I understand that you are looking for some advice or resources to help fully train your dog or fix behavior problems. If a professional dog trainer is not an option at this time, or if you want to trt training your dog on your own (a great way to bond), I'd suggest you https://biturl.im/aU8bs
A friend recommened it to me a few years ago, and I was amazed how quickly it worked, which is why I recommend it to others. The dog training academy also has as an excellent home training course.
