I saw a documetary recently about James Hanratty. Does anybody know what became of Valerie Storie ?

Well, I once looked her up on the Internet. There was a school reunion in Slough some years ago, and there were pics of her from there. Her surname is still Storie, so I'm assuming that she never married. She's now much older, of course. In the pics, she has short, gray hair and glasses and is kind of heavy-set.

EDIT: I also just read that she is the Director of Slough Community Transport and Shopmobility, which promotes the interests of disabled persons. As you may recall, Valerie Storie was paralyzed when she was shot by James Hanratty. From the sound of things, she has led a very productive life.

Seriously though, good question. Unfortunately I'm no wiser than anyone else and there's nothing coming up on Google to shed any light on it. Maybe that's how she wants it?
